Field Service Engineer -(Laser/Plasma/GC Specialist) Germany / UK

A vacancy has arisen for a Field Service Engineer based in either the North UK or Germany and to cover these regions plus support our Channel Partner in Scotland.

As the successful candidate you will be providing field service support to Servomex customers in your designated region to maximize customer satisfaction and profitable service revenues. As the Laser/Plasma/GC Specialist specialist within the field service team, approximately 60/70% of your time will potentially be spent meeting specific customer requirements in mainland Europe.

Principle responsibilities are as follows:

· Servicing and commissioning Servomex products to customers expectations
· Ensuring customer awareness of Servomex maintenance contracts and training capabilities
· Provide in-depth technical training to customers on Servomex products for maintenance and commissioning purposes
· Completing detailed repair, service and commissioning reports
· Overseas travel when required
· Service specialist for Laser/Plasma/GC lines
· Support sales activities

You will have a technical degree or minimum diploma qualifications in electronics and proven experience in a similar role within an analytical/instrumentation environment. You will be competent in MS Office suite, Lotus Notes and SAP. You will be organised and tenacious in your problem-solving approach, self-motivated with some commercial awareness.
